Mr. Ahmed Abu Jbara

Ahmed Abu Jbara is a PhD student at the Volgenau School of Information Technology & Engineering and a graduate research assistant in System Architectures Laboratory at George Mason University. Ahmed has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Islamic University, Gaza (2002), and a Master's degree in Electronic Commerce from George Mason University (2006).Ahmed received the Presenditial Scholarship (2004-2006).

He served as a Teaching Assistant in CCAST-Gaza, head of IT Department in CCAST-Gaza and later worked as a Vice Dean for Academic Affairs in UCAS-Gaza.

His research interests include Service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Discrete Event System Modeling and Simulation.
